Enjoy the spectacular approach to Windsor Castle on The Long Walk, and experience a horse-drawn carriage journey enjoyed by royalty for centuries, and exclusively shared with guests of Windsor Carriages by licence since 1849.

From your charming carriage you will pass landmarks such as The Royal Mausoleum at Frogmore, the final resting place of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert; Windsor’s Diamond Jubilee Monument, commemorating Daniel and Storm, the two horses who drew Queen Elizabeth II’s carriages, and experience panoramic views into the 5000-acre estate which surrounds the Castle. What to anticipate A private 6-seater horse-drawn Wagonette carriage will meet you on The Long Walk a short 3-minute walk from the visitor entrance to Windsor Castle. Nearest postcode to the carriage start and end point is SL4 1LB will take you to The Two Brewers pub (established in 1792 and perfect for a spot of lunch). This is a return trip. The carriage will return to the starting location. Our carriages are meticulously maintained to evoke the charm and elegance of a bygone era, and Christmas is no exception. Experience one of our festive trips and journey through the ancient Royal landscape of Windsor Great Park in our enchanting carriage that captures the essence of Christmas in a truly regal setting.

Shared Carriages Enjoy the timeless charm of a Heritage carriage ride and forge unexpected friendships with kindred spirits, once strangers, who will share the journey. £75 per adult (16 years+), £25 per child (2-15 years) Infants (under 2 years) go free on an adult lap. Only one child ticket allowed per paying adult.
