Horse welfare is the condition under which we operate.
Our horses live with their coachmen and families, receiving daily care in familiar surroundings. Their comfort, fitness and individual needs guide how we work.
We limit our commissions to allow time for preparation, rest and recovery. Weather, ground conditions and Estate activity are considered, and we adapt or defer carriage participation when their welfare requires it.
Activity, turnout and attentive care remain part of the horses’ lives throughout the year. Retirement is planned, with lifelong care in familiar surroundings.

Through our schools programme, charitable partnerships and local collaborations, we contribute where we can , helping keep this tradition visible and grounded in the town that has sustained it.
Our Professional Standards
Our professional responsibilities include licensed operation, appropriate insurance, veterinary and carriage inspections, safeguarding and experienced coachmanship.
We review our working practices with the welfare of the horses and the care of our guests at their heart.
