About Us
MORE THAN JUST A CARRIAGE RIDE
For over 175 years, coachman in Windsor town and The Great Park have passed down their Victorian horse drawn hackney carriage taxi license generation to generation, preserving this unique tradition and Windsors rich carriage driving heritage. John Seear, Windsor coachman for over five decades, refused to modernise the last license to a motor car, preserving our unique tradition. Today, his daughter Rebecca, known as 'The Coachman's Daughter,' continues the business.
"Stories are at the heart of our experiences, growing up, sitting next to my father on his carriages, it was always his stories that created smiles and in sharing our perspective of this magnificent royal estate. My joy is to create exceptional experiences, prioritising the welfare of our cherished horses and honouring time honoured practices where luxury meets tradition.
