Why did you choose Windsor Carriages?
I was looking for a tailored, hassle-free way to experience Windsor for a special occasion, without needing to plan every detail myself.

What stood out most about the experience?
The sense of ease. The visit was a surprise birthday gift and delivered exactly the atmosphere and magic I had hoped for, without ever feeling staged or rushed.

How did the day flow?
The pacing was perfect. Timings were adjusted seamlessly in the background so the day felt relaxed and natural rather than regimented.

We wanted to personally thank you for creating such an extraordinary and unforgettable experience for our family/friends. We visited Windsor Carriages as part of a three-generation girls’ trip — grandmother, mothers, and daughters — and the experience was, without question, the highlight of our entire UK/Europe journey.

It’s difficult to put our gratitude and appreciation into words that truly reflect the magic of what you created for us. I’ve included our collective feedback in this note - which I hope you can share with your team and potential future customers.

From start to finish, everything felt intentional, personal, and deeply special. Your warmth, care, and attention to detail set the tone immediately, and it was clear how much pride and heart you pour into preserving this remarkable tradition. John was a wonderful coachman — knowledgeable, gracious, and engaging in a way that brought the history and beauty of Windsor and the HORSES to life for all of us. Crispin captured the day perfectly. His photographs are extraordinary — not posed or intrusive, but authentic and full of life. They allow us to relive the magic again and again, and we will treasure them always.

What means the most is how universally beloved this experience was within our group. Our mom was completely charmed, and our daughter’s utterly enchanted. It is incredibly rare to find something that resonates so beautifully across three generations — and you achieved that seamlessly. The horses were absolutely stunning — magnificent in both presence and temperament — their beauty matched only by the elegance with which they moved through Windsor. Their impeccable training was evident in every step, creating a sense of calm, confidence, and grace that made the entire experience feel effortless and magical.

Thank you for preserving such a special piece of living history and for sharing it with such grace. This is an experience we will recommend wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

Why We Chose Windsor Carriages
'While planning our family trip to England, I came across Windsor Carriages on Instagram. Windsor Castle and the surrounding park were of great interest to us, and reading the testimonials, along with seeing how Rebecca carries the legacy of this very special company, made it clear we wanted to be part of the experience she could create for our family.'

Our Highlights
'This day was deeply personal for us. We were tracing the footsteps of my great uncle, Benjamin West, historical painter to King George III, who lived and worked in Windsor in the late 1700s. Rebecca planned everything with such care, from collecting us in London to guiding us through Windsor Great Park, the Long Walk, the Castle, and St George’s Chapel.'

'One unforgettable moment was standing in the exact place where my uncle once sketched the park, and later narrowing down the location of where he lived on Park Street. It felt surreal and incredibly moving. Along the way, there were surprises too — including watching a large herd of deer run across the Long Walk.'

We were delighted to support a major celebration organised by Cliveden House, marking a milestone birthday in spectacular style.

Experience Highlights:

Accredited Blue Badge Guides shared Windsor’s history and stories on board each carriage.
Hospitality was served from magnums of Windsor Estate wine and Fortnum’s sparkling tea.
The lead guest’s crest was embroidered onto the horses’ drapes, adding ceremony and prestige.
Carriages for sixty guests processed to The Guildhall, where a private afternoon tea awaited.
