I never set out to create private visits and events. I simply wanted to keep my family’s horses doing the work they knew and enjoyed.
In time, I came to understand that the trade they were continuing was not merely unusual. It was Windsor’s last surviving licensed horse-drawn Hackney Carriage trade and part of a working tradition that has almost entirely disappeared elsewhere in Britain.
Keeping it alive required more than preserving its past. It required finding a meaningful future for it.
That future is being shaped in partnership with like-minded hotels, travel advisors, concierge teams and event professionals who understand that the carriage is not an isolated activity. It is one carefully coordinated chapter within a guest’s wider visit, itinerary or occasion.

Year-round, we curate and host fully managed Windsor experiences for private clients, families and corporate groups. These collections provide a structured foundation that integrates seamlessly into a wider UK itinerary. Each is delivered by our professional team with full logistical oversight and may be elevated or tailored where a higher-touch approach is required.
The Royal Chapter
A privately hosted Estate Drive forming part of your wider Windsor itinerary, supported by guiding, dining coordination and chauffeur positioning. Designed as a defining heritage chapter within your client’s visit.
Beneath the Oaks
An elegant estate luncheon beneath Windsor’s historic oak trees. Guests arrive by carriage to a fully styled outdoor dining setting with private chef, serving staff and refined hospitality. Optional speakers, recognition moments or bespoke enhancements may be incorporated. Discreet, polished and entirely managed by our team.
Take the Reins | Harnessing Success
A leadership and team development experience inspired by traditional carriage driving principles. Designed for executive teams and incentive groups, combining estate hospitality with structured learning and facilitated reflection.

Why Flexibility Protects The Experience
Windsor is a living Royal town and working Estate. Ceremonial activity changes, permissions and access can move, roads close and the needs of our working horses must always come first.
Working within a professionally coordinated programme allows flexibility to be built into the day from the beginning. If exceptionally warm weather means the carriage chapter should take place earlier, for example, it may be exchanged with the guests’ Castle visit. While the horses rest, members of our wider team can share the history, craftsmanship and philosophy behind the trade.
The guests continue to experience a beautifully held day while any necessary adjustments happen quietly behind the scenes.
