Windsor’s horses and historic carriages offer something increasingly rare: a living British tradition still at work within the landscape to which it belongs. We consider private photography, editorial, documentary, broadcast, commercial and carefully aligned creative commissions in Windsor. Each enquiry is reviewed individually to ensure that the proposed work is appropriate for our horses, carriages, professional standards and the traditions we represent.
Windsor as a Working Location
Windsor is a living Royal town and working Estate rather than a permanent film set.
Locations, access and permissions are considered individually and may be affected by Estate activity,
ceremonial requirements, the scale of the production and the needs of our horses.
Our detailed knowledge of Windsor informs the planning behind each commission. Specific locations and operational arrangements are discussed only once we understand the project and have established that we are well suited to it.
No particular location, view or access arrangement should be assumed until it has been formally considered and confirmed.
Editorial, Broadcast and Commercial Filming
Our horses, carriages and carriage teams may also be commissioned for selected editorial, broadcast, documentary and commercial productions.
Previous work has included national and international television, Royal Ascot coverage, heritage storytelling and carefully considered brand collaborations.
We understand that professional production requires more than the appearance of a carriage. Schedules, access, transport, welfare, presentation, production requirements and the responsibilities of each party must be carefully established in advance.
We work alongside appointed producers, location teams, photographers and production professionals to determine what is both possible and appropriate. We have worked with Good Morning Australia, ITV, BBC and Channel 4 most recently.
Private Photo Moments in Windsor
Photography can be incorporated discreetly into a privately hosted Windsor visit, wedding, proposal or significant family occasion.
Rather than turning the day into a formal photoshoot, we create the space for meaningful moments to unfold naturally—meeting the horse and coachman, travelling by historic carriage and spending unhurried time together within Windsor.
Guests may bring an appointed photographer or, where appropriate, we can recommend a professional who understands how to work quietly within the wider experience.
The result is a visual record of the occasion without the photography overwhelming the reason for being there.
