How do I book a carriage?

Is the carriage suitable for all ages and abilities? 

Yes. Each tour is tailored to your interests in the Park and Windsor History. We can keep children as young as 3 engaged and those under 3 tend to fall asleep to the rhythm of the carriage. Blankets and umbrellas available in the event of unexpected weather. The carriage is accessed via two wide low steps with hand rails and is suitable for all abilities. The lowest step is 20cm from the ground.

Where can I park to access The Long Walk and meet the carriage? 

There is no parking at Windsor Castle or on The Long Walk.

The closest car park is King Edward VII Avenue, Windsor, SL4 6HX which is a 20 minute walk to Windsor Castle. 

What if the weather is poor?

Please assume your tour will go ahead unless we contact you. Blankets and umbrellas are provided in the event of rain or cold weather. Please see booking terms and conditions for further information on cancellations.

Where is The Long Walk? 

The Long Walk is a short 3 minute walk from the visitors entrance to The Castle. Nearest post code SL4 1LB.

Where is Bishopsgate? 

The address for Bishopsgate is Bishopsgate Rd, Englefield Green, Egham TW20 0XU Nearest Landmark is The Fox and Hounds restaurant. Parking is very limited on the roadside so please arrive early or contact us to arrange a private car to collect you from your hotel or alternate parking at: Savill Gardens. We made a map you can print out here.
